Deuterium

A stable hydrogen isotope used heavily in both small-scale fusion reactors and neutron-scattering shield technology. Deuterium very rarely occurs naturally. Most of the galaxy's supply comes from the processing of Di-hydrogen and Tritium in Refiners.
